SUPER STORE GAME CONTEST RULES
Who Can Enter:
1. Entrants must be registered ClubPro members at janovic.com and have an established customer/account number with JANOVIC. They must be 21 years of age or older and have lawful access to the Internet with a valid email address.
a. If you do not have an email address you can easily obtain one for free at Hotmail.com, yahoo.com or google.com, AND if you don't have a computer, you can go to your nearest public library or similar venue that offers free access to the internet.
2. No Purchase necessary. Alternate means of entry is to simply register at janovic.com/clubpro with a user name and password, complete a profile and obtain a store customer/account number through the contest registration to receive 20 entries.
3. Employees of JANOVIC, Benjamin Moore and their affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies and the immediate family members of such employees, are ineligible.
What You Can Win
1. An all expense paid cruise at sea leaving Miami, FL on January 24, 2011 to board a fun-filled 5-day, 4-night Carnival Cruise to Key West, Florida and Cozumel, Mexico returning January 28, 2011.
2. Prizes include round trip airfare from winner's city in the continental US to Miami, all transfer, taxes, gratuities, and accommodations on-board ship.
Super Store Game General Contest Information
Qualifying Period
February 1, 2010 - November 22, 2010 (Please note this will be a 10 month contest.)
How To Enter
1. In order to qualify for the contest, a contractor must become a ClubPro member. Log on to janovic.com/clubpro and create a user name and password and complete a business profile. An email will be sent to confirm your ClubPro membership. Contest registration is available from the ClubPro profile page.
2. You must have an established customer/account number with JANOVIC. If you do not have one, we can easily set you up with one by visiting any JANOVIC store. If you would like one set up online, on the contest registration page, check the box in the 'Account number' area and you will have one assigned and emailed back to you. Having an account is simply our way of tracking your entries and does not mean you can't continue to purchase with cash or credit card. If you would like to apply for house credit then simply download a credit application on the contest registration page. Remember, a contractor profile can be viewed by thousands of potential customers who visit our website looking for a contractor, so be sure to make it as professional as you deem fit. It is so simple to do.
3. If you already are a ClubPro member:
a. Go to janovic.com/clubpro and log in to your account with your user name and password. Click on the Contest registration link.
b. Enter your JANOVIC account number. If you don't know your account number call us at 718-786-4444 or your sales representative and we will look it up for you. It's also on your statement that you receive from us.
c. Choose a JANOVIC store location from the store locator tab to be your home store. Purchases in all JANOVIC stores apply to your entries.
d. Hit Submit.
e. You will receive an email confirmation from us.
5. Cruise packages will be awarded based on random drawing from qualified entries earned throughout the qualifying period. The random drawing will occur no later than January 3, 2011. To qualify for the contest and earn entries from purchasing sponsored products, purchases must be made during the promotion period.
6. Winners will be notified by phone and through email addresses provided at the registration page for the contest.
Super Store Game Contest Rules and Regulations
1. Contractors who have registered for the contest are eligible to earn entries into the contest in the following manner:
2. When you complete your ClubPro membership and obtain your customer/account number you will receive 20 entries.
3. Total annual purchases will be aggregated thereafter in the following manner:
a. 5 entries for every $50 per invoice
b. 10 entries for every $100 per invoice
c. 15 entries for every $150 per invoice
d. 20 entries for every $200 per invoice
e. 50 entries for every $500+ per invoice
4. Purchase of sponsored products earn entries in the following manner:
a. Platinum sponsors' products, earn 7 entries
b. Gold sponsors' products, earn 5 entries
c. Silver sponsors' products, earn 3 entries
d. Bronze sponsors' products, earn 1 entry
5. Sponsors are announced and identified via in store identification and through special announcements from JANOVIC. Sponsored products must be purchased during the promotion period to qualify for the contest. See rule #12 below.
6. Odds of winning depend on number of contractors entered and the number of entries earned, divided by 30 trips given away. All decisions on qualifying purchases will be at the exclusive discretion of JANOVIC.
General Super Store Game Rules/Regulations
1. Entry constitutes an assignment to Sponsor of all intellectual property rights in the entry materials, if any. Except where prohibited by law, entry constitutes permission to use winner's name, hometown, likeness, and photograph for online posting, and/or any advertising and publicity without additional compensation. Entrant must provide name, address, email, and phone number. Entry deadline is November 21, 2010 at 11:59 P.M.
2. Sponsor is not responsible for the error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware, or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive entry, winner(s) or other contest information by Sponsor or entrants for any reason whatsoever. Sponsor is also not responsible for any injury or damage to any entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any materials in the Contest or for entries that are late, misdirected or incomplete. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned. CAUTION: AN ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATIONS OF THE CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF THE CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEE DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel the contest if it becomes technically corrupted.
3. For winners of the trip, and IRS form 1099 or W-2 will be issued, as required by law. No cash compensation and no trade or other compensation of any kind will be given in lieu of the trip. In all maters pertaining to the contest, including interpretation of the rules and/or qualifications, the decision of the sponsor shall be final.
4. All trips are based on double occupancy. Additional trips may be purchased in part or in full for each trip earned. For each trip purchased you must have earned a trip.
5. Because we want the pleasure of your company, only owners, employees and their guests over the age of 21 at the time of the cruise are eligible for trips. Please do not ask us to make an exception to this request.
6. All trips are designed and planned with adults in mind. Please do not ask us to make an exception to this request.
7. Trips are not transferable to other contractors and total points from two contractors cannot be combined, all entries will go to the registered account number that buys the paint and supplies from the store.
8. Trips have no monetary value. For the purposes of the IRS for 1099 the W-2 will reflect a $2,000 retail value.
9. Departure date, destination, airfare purchase and ground costs are subject to change if fuel surcharges and/or escalating travel costs so dictate.
10. JANOVIC, Inc. may, at its sole discretion, cancel a trip program or change destination for any reason which it deems appropriate including but not limited to, favorable currency exchange value, matters bearing on the international situation, escalation of costs and expenses.
11. Any misrepresentation of company ownership (i.e. not being the actual owner) will result in immediate disqualification.
12. In order to receive/earn additional entries from purchasing sponsors' products, contractor must purchase a minimum of $1000 from February 1, 2010 through November 21, 2010.
13. There will be a $100 charge for name changes for travel itinerary after the cut-off period. As a favor to us, after making a commitment to participate, please make every effort to fulfill that commitment.
14. A valid passport in your current name for all winners and guests will be required for this incentive program.
