Upper West Side

I'm very pleased with my new blinds from Janovic Upper West Side. I initiated the process by requesting (via the website) an at-home design consultation and very quickly had an appointment with Philip-John Puzzo. He listened carefully to my ideas, showed me some color samples, and presented several options. After I committed to a particular product, another gentleman came by the next day to take measurements; he also installed the blinds when they arrived. This purchase was pleasant in several ways. The price was a little less than I'd expected, the blinds were manufactured and delivered more quickly than I'd expected, and lastly, as they were delivered on a Friday, their installation proceeded apace on the next Monday! I don't recall the name of the measurer/installer, but I also wish to give him praise for being polite and professional. For a city with grit, quick tempers, and a tendency for mishegoss, this was a refreshing experience. The blinds look great, darken my room effectively and the SimpleLift mechanism is smooth.

Working with Janovic Plaza for my blinds was a wonderful experience. From purchasing to installation was easy and professional. Everything went very smoothly. Phillip and the whole Janovic team were wonderful to work with. They came immediately to measure our spaces, provided us with paper shades while we awaited delivery of our Hunter Douglas rollers, and Vlad came twice to install as the boxes arrived. They could not have been more accommodating. As a family making an international move, I couldn’t recommend Janovic more highly.

I dealt with Phillip at the Janovic store on third Avenue downtown, and he was great. Very knowledgeable, professional and responsive. The job was to replace my Hunter Douglas motorized shades, which finally gave out after about 20 years. We needed to consider whether I should go to a corded version or stick with motorized, which are considerably more expensive relatively. Phillip didn’t push to sell me anything I didn’t need and in the end we arrived at a very fair deal. The installation was also done very professionally, patiently, and timely by Orbin. I’m very happy with the end result & with how the process went from start to finish.

I definitely will be recommending Phillip and his team at Janovic in the future.

We started out with blinds in both our bedrooms and loved them so much we ended up ordering blinds for the remaining windows in our apartment. Phillip was great in helping us pick out something in our price range that would look great in our apartment. Everything was seamless and quick. Would definitely recommend Janovic and Phillip on the UWS.

Phillip from Janovich upper westside east very kind and helpful. He ordered replacement brackets for my Hunter Douglas blinds just from a phone call and text to him. Hunter Douglas is replacing the brackets for free and sending them to me via mail. Janovich on the upper westside in NYC will get my business going forward.
