I recently visited Benjamin Moore Janovic for my DIY kitchen cabinet painting project, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. I walked in with an ambitious plan—painting my kitchen cabinets by myself—even though I had zero painting experience and wasn’t exactly handy. From the moment I entered the store, Duncan, one of the most affable staff members, welcomed me with genuine enthusiasm. He immediately put me at ease, listened carefully to my vision, and reassured me that I could successfully tackle this project on my own.Duncan spent a significant amount of time helping me navigate what initially felt like an overwhelming process. He patiently looked through pictures of my kitchen and samples of my countertop, guiding me through the color selection process. I had just a vague idea of wanting a lighter hue, but his expert advice helped me choose a shade that perfectly complements my home. Once the color was set, he and the amazing team assisted me in picking the right finish and paint type for my cabinets.
Even when the store closed, the team’s dedication didn’t end—they stayed on board with a smile and helped me get everything I needed to start my project. Thanks to Duncan’s guidance and the team’s tireless support, not only do my cabinets look incredible, but I’ve also gained the confidence to take on more DIY projects around my home.

It's clear why this location has so many high reviews.Called this morning with a last minute need for a big project sarting this Monday as another Benjamin Moore Retailer did not let me know they did not have the product line I needed.
I called and spoke to Chase, who was patient and courteous. We briefly discussed the sheen and amount I needed, he promptly checked availibility and let me know they could fulfill the order same day. It was incredibly easy to complete what I needed without much stress.

This morning, I found myself short several gallons of paint for a job that my super was doing in my apartment. It was a custom color and the job was already in full swing so I was stressing. Now I am not a contractor, just an everyday customer (f). The guys that helped me were very helpful, pleasant, informative, and spoke TO me - not in a condescending manner. The experience was a great way to start an otherwise damp and rainy Wednesday. I’d rate the store employees and the experience 10 stars if I could. This Janovic has the best staff! I work all over the city and I’ll still go and grab the majority of my painting supplies from them. Extremely serviceable, friendly and helpful.
