As we were walking home late one evening, we came across an old, worn down coffee table in a pile of trash on the sidewalk. We decided that with a little repair and some paint, this could be just the table we have been searching for to match the funky couch in our our small, dark apartment. It was a relatively sturdy structure and although it had cobwebs, cracks and a few holes holes - we had some vision.

After some sanding and repair to the table, we went right to work on the painting. We chose Benjamin Moore® Aura® Margarita 2026 in an eggshell finish to give it a cool, retro touch, and certainly bring it out of its depressive state. After a few hours of painting, we were left with a coffee table that looks great and is the perfect complement to the couch and the colors in our living room. We are so happy with this new table and knowing where we found it to what it is now....it deserves the title "Junk to Gem"!
